Damn straight, playa!!
Pageantry and tradition over rote entertainment.
#32 with 673. A couple more seasons plus this one, gets into more lofty company!
Did they announce anything?
Green and Blue Lot traffic is also really bad because thereās always that 1 person that wants to go north on Elgin instead of turning right at Cullen to get to 45.
We have debunked every common excuse on why we havenāt drawn fans in the past for this season and some want to act like there is still a problem.
Great crowd on the same day Astros were having their fan fest and Texans playing in a huge playoff game and not playing a big name opponent.
The crowd for Kansas State is going to be really good.
Lol. See 2 years ago.
It was literally right before the Texans playoff game⦠NFL is king⦠We all know this.
Unless they put shirts on the chairs, it will be a smattering of black and red with some white and other colors sprinkled in there, such as purple.
To me the blackouts are silly. What do they accomplish really? If it was to sell a few more T-Shirts, I guess I could understand that but more than like someone just reaches into their closet and gets a black shirt.
What does a blackout really accomplish? It is not going to sell anymore tickets. No one is going to the game BECAUSE it is a blackout.
I donāt get it, I have never gotten it.
In theory, it contributes to atmosphere. Whether or not that actually happens is debatable.
Just wear black and donāt worry why lol, itās just neat looking on tv and whole stadium is one uniform color havenāt u ever seen a whiteout at a Penn St football game on tv, itās intimidating and a sight to see
White is Penn Stateās color. Why donāt we have a Red out?
I have seen us do a Black Out when we played UCF and that is UCFās primary color. Just Dumb.
We are basketball royalty.
We play in the BEST basketball conference in HISTORY. We donāt need gimmicks.
We need a crooooown!!!
We just had a red out a couple of games ago lol
It should be a redout with a few fans in blue shirts sprinkled around the arena.
The people who canāt be bothered to wear a black shirt for 2 hours are the same ones complaining about fan engagement. smh
Thatās not necessarily true. I always participate in these blackout shirt games and I still think we could improve our atmosphere at games.
Sorry, didnāt mean that went both ways. Just meant that there are posters who refuse to participate in the blackout games who also complain about fan engagement (which seems hypocritical).
A TT friend of mine came to the tech game. A former coach and athlete who has always looked at us like a small time athletic program. She was amazed with the facility, atmosphere and blown away with our mariachi band saying it was the best she has seen. Lastly, she was impressed with our team and said she had a blast regardless of outcome. It was the first collegiate game her 8 year old has attended. We are changing perceptions in groups at a time. Maybe it is time some of our fans jump on this rather than complaining about things that go on everywhere else.
