The Kendal Briles offense at TCU is prone to 3 and outs and with all the passing, can lead to interceptions. If the UH defense can create three and outs from TCU, and the offense can create some sustained drives, resting the UH defense, the offense can create the momentum that lifts the entire team. If UH stays clean with turnovers…you never know…

IMO, that happens when DL are disruptive and can get in the backfield quickly to throw off their timing/rythmn. Basically what SMU did to us in 2019 iirc

I agree with this, especially since TCU has been kind of turnover-prone this year, primarily with fumbles.

We did in fact. As I recall, it was D’Eriq King’s coming out party.
They have a very legit offense this year. I wouldn’t count on them sputtering. They will consistently score points. We need 3 turnovers and the offense to at least get in the 20s to have a shot. TCU is legit and it’s a home night game for them.
They blew the UCF game (at home)… Had to come back to beat Stanford (yes they were away) and then you got the game vs SMU. 66 points dropped on them…
But I do agree their offense is good. Hoover can sling it. They will put up points. I don’t like this match up at all for us. I said that a couple weeks back. I don’t know how long our defense will be able to hold up. We need the offensive to get going in this game to even have a chance. If we go into halftime down… 16-10… we have shot.

I think we pull off the upset. Friday night in Ft Worth will be a let down crowd for the Frogs. Their roster really isn’t that good.
