Traveled to town this week for work and already planned on going to the Bears game Sunday night with colleagues. Since I won’t be attending my usual home game at Iowa today with my tailgate friends, I’m taking advantage of being in HTX and will attend my first game at TDECU to support our COOGS.

If you’re looking for a hearty pregame meal, right down the street from the stadium, Timmy Chans has a good baked chicken plate with RICE and gravy, great egg rolls, an excellent red beans and RICE, or you can always just go with the wings and fried RICE meal.
