Could care less. Our season is done. Don’t really care enough about the rest of them to watch.

We complain about the refs because it ain’t right for them to cheat, impose their bias into the game, and be the deciding factor in the game!
What’s wrong with wanting a fair competition where the outcome is decided by the players and coaches? It ain’t right for the refs to orchestrate the outcome of the game!
I complain just as much when I see Kentucky, Duke, etc getting all of the calls all the time whenever they are being outplayed by their opponents!
What kind of competition is it if the refs cheat for certain teams over others all the time? If I want to watch a competition that is fixed, I would go watch professional wrestling! When you have referees who are there to cheat, the game is basically fixed! They can’t say they win fairly if the refs are put there to cheat for them!

Then why do you watch? Seriously, I want to know? If the refs decide the outcome for the blue bloods, then why even watch? That line of thinking makes zero sense.
if we were playing auburn id have had an issue with it…but you have to recognize who you are playing…i have no issue getting abused on the boards by the #1 rebounding team in the nation, with 6’7 bigs… all we could do is limit it…which we did …were we got most of our fouls trying to box them out…
my only realy disappoint inthe game to me was herro vs corey…ashton hagans is UK elite defender, i thought theyd put him on core for most of the game…they didnt…they put herro on corey (what i thought would be a dream pre-game), and herro was guarded by corey…herro defintely won the matchup, which is surprising to me

Dude, I just posted some facts and made a general statement directed at no one in particular. Don’t be so paranoid. If I ever post something aimed at a single person and not for people in general, I will normally quote that person’s post.

We didn’t limit the rebounding margin. I’m not sure what game you were watching.
And Herro is an excellent defender that has a lot of length. He’s a baller and Kentucky’s most important player. There’s a reason Cal is going to the HOF. He’s not an idiot. Even if you think he is for putting Herro on Corey.
You may want to go watch that UK-Wofford game again if it was your dream to have Herro on Corey. Ask Fletcher Magee how that worked out.

No I didn’t, your post just happened to be above mine when I started my post. Several others got posted while I was typing and the program automatically makes it a response to the person above when post was started. I have no control over that.
I think Corey tried too hard to be a hero. One of the players said in an interview they didn’t know who Corey was and I think he tried to over compensate and just didn’t stick to what he is good at. The team was so good because every piece was solid but had no real super star and a few shots he took it was almost like he wanted a highlight. Don’t get me wrong he is the best player from this team and is responsible for so many wins but I think tonight he just wanted to be a hero when all we needed was the consistency to pull it out.
We were out rebounded by 10 in the first half and 13 for the game. UK, the best rebounding team in the country, only out rebounded us by 3 in the second half. Still think that rebounding, mainly 1st half rebounding, is probably what hurt us the most tonight.

No doubt about that. Their bigs are actually bigs, ours are not really. And our were in foul trouble from the get go.

herro defense mostly relies on his height…there are tons of videos of him getting crossed up and blown by…
if you look n my match thread i made, i said whoever doesnt have hagans on them will be faster than their defender and should blow by them and draw defenders or shot
out of hagans, hero and johnson, hero is the worst defender of the 3… fletcher is pure shooter, not a driver, not comparable to corey
Then just watch the game tonight. Herro locked up Corey. And scored 20+ on the other end. I don’t need to go look at your matchup highlights or whatever you just told me to watch. Herro was the best defensive player Kentucky had tonight. My eyeballs told me that, and there’s a reason Cal put Herro on Corey. You’re not always the smartest guy in the room.
You CANNOT guard the refs.
Even with a ok game from Corey we still almost won. I truly believe we need another big that is athletic and strong. We have a lot on tweeners on the team. offensive rebounding cost us the game. How many points did Kentucky score off of offensive rebounds?

then why did he switch hagans on him for the last play??? (technically the last few minutes)
again herro didnt lock up corey, corey wanted to be a shooter vs herro…which is why i said i was disappointed, and herro won the matchup…corey started driving in the 2nd half and things opened
cal calls ashton his best defensive player and says its not close (but shorter than herro on the 3pt contest)…and corey didnt attempt to drive till the 2nd half (which then forced the switch)
i get why cal put herro on corey, to prevent him from shooting…my point, corey isnt soley a shooter and should have exploited that
herro isnt known for defense by anyone…
so you arent disappointed a player not known for defense kept our top scorer from scoring,…but you are disappointed that the best rebounding team in the country out rebounded us??
