GAMEDAY THREAD: TCU @ Houston | 3PM CST | FOX

And it was such an awful pass. Under thrown into double coverage with no arc taking away our height advantage.

When the ball was on the air, I was in disbelief that Wiegman thought that was a good idea.

I think everyone and their mom knew who that pass was going to. I was surprised we came out in the same formation after TCU called the TO. Would’ve rather seen #9 lined up on the short side and throw him an actual jump ball.

no one is settling for an 18 yard field goal nowadays unless its to further milk the clock for a walkoff field goal lol

however throwing it at the 1 instead of running it was unforgivable

Weigman is fine. TCU planned well for our O scheme. They loaded up the box to stop the run and fucused their coverage on the outside receivers.

It looked like we rarely threw a seam route or slant. They kept their safeties back and the LBs tight to the line. I kept wondering if we were ever going to exploit this. We did not.

I’m going to watch the game again and see how many times we threw to the middle of the field.

It looked like out routes or out and up for Thomas. And most of the time they were well covered.
Also, not a lot of ti e to get any deep routes going.

I was hoping for two QB sneaks since had been successful with those this year. Looked like Weigmans first two options were covered. It was 4th down, he had to throw it. I was not opposed to it at the time.

When and where has he said this???

I doubt he is transferring.

It’s like we can’t have one moment of silence or tradition after scores, or band music with someone playing loud music over the top. As much as I like Ozzy or Metallica,I don’t want to hear them at the game. Let the bands play.

That game was very winnable. When you turn your opponent over 4 times and allow 17 points, you should win. Tough loss.

Correct. No interest in winning. Frustrating

We should all get refunds and a personalized written apology from Fritz.

Koziol was open middle field a couple times could been big gain but Weighman didnt even look to him

Exactly
if Weigman had half a second more on the third down pass, then that is a TD. Our WR burned their DB and our QB saw it

All day he was just about to get hit when throwing. It’s not regressing, it’s pressure.[quote=“1978Cougar, post:1081, topic:65433, full:true”]
If he wasn’t hit on that near sack, I believe it would have been a TD. The receiver was behind the defender.

Henderson could look like DJ Lagway and now you really could be waiting for success for quite some time

I just don’t like that they lost to TCU.

One week, people on here talked on and on about how it was so cool at one school and got the students involved, the next week, UH does it and people on here talk about how much it sucks and we don’t need that.

You can’t say it’s a great idea one week and turn around and say it was a bad idea the next.

Different people. Personally, I was and remain pro-DJ. I think it worked.

Now, if we turn the UH helmet buggy into a SLAB just to attract fans, I will post an opinion about that.

I really do not get the “not playing to win” complaint. You want to gamble on an offense that hasn’t done jack all game? Were we watching the same football team? Let’s be real, if we’d gone three and out before the half and give. TCU a field goal, y’all would have been complaining about that, too.

My thought as well. Makes you wonder if gambling has become an NIL supplement
