I wonder how much of that is due to ESPN losing or FS1 gaining.
This is espn own fault. The media decided in the mid 90’s early 2000’s to go the controversial route. Instead of being purely journalistic oriented it has turned into “slam dunk” tv. We want to shock you is their new mantra. They report rumors as if it were true. They are no better than TMZ. At least TMZ is upfront with what they do. With this mindset people quickly turn the other way. Professionalism and true reporting is not too much to ask.
