Very suspicious. I think the dog did it and then offed itself.

My initial guess is he fell and died… overcome with grief she ate a bunch of pills to go with him and after she went unconscious the dog came in and ate some of the pills.

Sure it is. If an odd, elderly celebrity death isn’t fodder for gallows humor, nothing is.
It doesn’t seem so weird as to stain his legacy. He’ll always be remembered fondly for that.
Their corpses were mummified. If they had grieving family, they sure didn’t visit recently.
R.I.P. Gene Hackman. A life well lived, and if this is the way you wanted to go out, so be it.
Read one story that said the door was ajar, but not forced. Read another
that mummification can happen in day in that climate…so not sure anymore.

911 first though. Appears he had 3 kids, so not heard last time they may have spoke.
Anyway this pic really kinda surprised me to see how old he was; because I see
him almost weekly in some old movie.
I read a report that said he looked like he fell in one room… she was found in the bathroom with pills everywhere… and the dog found in the bathroom closet… that’s where my guess is stemmed.

Just seems odd no 911 call. Maybe we got it backwards. He found her OD first
and was heading out thru mud room and fell ? Or maybe she was diabetic and went low blood sugar, blacked out while trying to get her pills.
Let’s say she was elsewhere on the estate and didn’t hear him fall… then found him and couldn’t stand to live without her true love…
The only wrench in this is that she had to know the man that was 30 years older than her was going to die before her…

Sure, that’s possibility too; I’m thinking there was no foul play by a third party however on what’s been released

Regarding Hoosiers, its fascinating to me that Hackmen was sure the movie was awful while filming.
But for me personally, the first thing i knew him as, was Lux Luthor. He had fun with that
Oh of course not, 95 is very old, it’s just the numbers don’t really
grab you until you see them; and just last week I saw him as I remembered him.
I saw that same picture when it came out and was also shocked at how he looked. Then I found out he was 95 and realized that I probably hadn’t seen a current photo of him since he retired from acting in 2004.
I will have to rewatch The Royal Tenenbaums this weekend. One of my favorites. Hard to believe it came out on 2001. Time flies. RIP.

Jeeze, simma down! It’s not as if he accused Hackman of starting the car himself and running hose from the exhaust into the bedroom.
He seems to be mocking the way some on the board want to wait on all the facts if it’s not tied to their narrative, or so they say.
