Georgia Southern road game next year?

He thought this up? Great.

Exactly. Make an overnight stop in the French Quarter on the way home. :beers:

I would happily do my best to get them in the ACC for an honorary degree. But no guarantees on it staying P4 once the top couple teams leave for the Big 12.

I would love to schedule Mudcat again but only for a home game. Every voodoo princess worth their salt will tell you Mudcats are animated by evil.

Looks like GSU is an easy drive from Savannah for long weekend

I’m pretty sure it was Yurachek that scheduled it. A complete buffoon. And then, as Ryan said above, Pezman didn’t get it out of It when it was rescheduled. He was also an incompetent buffoon.

A good road game would be Tulane or ULL.

Not some place in Southern Georgia.

It just does not make any sense… even back in 2016 or whatever. GSU is not a ā€œbrandā€ G6 program… they are super obscure. If you do a home and home… you do it with someone that people have heard of… like UNLV or Boise St which we do have on the upcoming slate. Or you do a regional team like UTSA or North Texas which we have done in the past. At this point, I wish we would of just stuck with Rice for another round of home and away… and I am actually happy we have taken a pause on the Bayou Bucket.

Yeah, but

We are done with Rice. We will never play them again in FB…As for Georgia Southern, they are not obscure…As a 1-AA powerhouse, they won national championships several times a few years ago. People who keep up with college football know who they are…We scheduled the game when we were in the American. We have moved the game up several times. We could have canceled, but didnt. So we go on the road and play them…Its one game…
