Go Astros!

I always immediately switch to MLB Channel after the gm if we Win. Harrold Reynolds is very good. More detailed analysis, no circus baloney n way more interviews. MLB Network channel does extensive post gm after every playoff gm.
Fyi for future.

This might be a little hyperbolic but if the Astros win this series Javier, Maton and Graveman will go down as one of the gutsiest performances in the history of Houston sports. The Astros shouldn’t have won that game last night. But now series is tied and it’s anybody’s series.

Well done Stros.

Arguing with Sox bud…ok I’ll give you that was strike 3 on Castro in 9th and you got to give Grienke that was strike 3 in 1st…net result, Astros win 2-0…fair is fair…he wasn’t buying it :grinning: :grinning:

Now that was the type of fight that I was expecting to see from the Astros.

An astonishing outcome with 2 outs in the 9th inning.

Framber really needs to go at least 5, preferably 6, innings today. That would really help the bullpen out.

I’d like to see that as well…I’d imagine that’s probably never happened

Well, i wasnt wrong about Grienke, but who could have forseen such a great job by ALL our relief guys shutting out Boston for 8 innings on the road? It was a great win at Fenway, gives us a shining moment against Boston no matter what happens the rest of the way…

You definitely called it. I thought there was no way the Astros would win by relying on an already tired bullpen. Javier, Maton and Graveman proved me wrong.

The pen will be the reason if we win this series, well and if the bats continue to be hot after that ninth inning last night.
We went to the game Garcia started when the Sox hit grand slams in the first two innings. Garcia looked very nervous to me and his control was way off.
We have one game in the series when anyone has lasted past the first inning. We need for our pitchers to settle down and pitch some innings.
I too am beginning to believe our catcher has not called the best of games for the younger pitchers. And I also agree that Grienke is more apt to overrule his selections.
Regardless, win tonight and win one at home and we are in the World Series again. Sounds simple anyways lol…

Boston fans and media complaining about one non strike is a joke. They’re doing everything to leverage some breathing room for Sale.

Screw Boston.

Agree on Boston but I do enjoy watching Chris Sale. I’ll turn it on to see him dealing to Tucker.

The Astros have scored 22 runs so far in the series……18 of those have been with 2 outs. Amazing.

Don’t like the meat ball pitcher Presley. You are flirting with disaster year after year.

Huh ? Been the most consistent reliever all year by far . Was voted to the ALL STAR game. There’s going to be hiccups, Hitters at plate are very good at times.

My guess is no, but do we have any knuckleball pitchers?
To me, the are a blast to watch…

They must have forgot that blown called strike in 1st vs Grienke that cost Astros 2 runs…so it would have been 2-0 Astros…
