This makes Tech look desperate to me. Stop pining away for them. There are other worthier opponents.
Texas Tech is talking bigger than their pay grade, and I’m not talking about NIL, but national stature, for a team that got shutout and embarrassed by Oregon in the CFP.
Unfortunately, Sark fanned the flames with his comments, unnecessarily. Head Coach McGuire and Campbell then took the live bait like they were fishing for red snapper in the Gulf of Mexico. Social media is having a field day.

Lol, I don’t think so. It’s not like Tech would be intimidated by playing an opponent whose legendary bark is far worse than their bite. They know Texas. I just don’t understand why people in this state are so enamored of them.

There is no way I would attend a game at TT. A golf buddy of mine is a TT grad and he highly recommended to me to not attend a game at TT as TT fans are POS to visiting fans.
This January when we (KIngston) beat TT in Fertitta, walking out of the game, a minor boy (less than 12, I guess) was yelling “F U Houston” and his TT parents did nothing. TT in training.

I went to the BYU game there that was a charged up environment with Game Day. I think you guys will have an equally charged up atmosphere this year. Tons of their fans went out of their way to say hi and have a nice conversation.
A few knuckleheads too, just enough to make it feel like a road game lol. I think you guys will be treated well and have a good chance of coming out with the W.
(We also went the basketball game. There were only like 15 BYU fans in the house and it was late so we just kind all walked in silence. Nothing said either way for that one lol.)

There is a huge difference between the relationship of BYU-Tech to UH-Tech. I don’t think the reception will be similar.
