I guess I’ll take it, but I hate when sports teams have a good season and politicians who couldn’t care less get involved and make proclamations, etc. Sheila Jackson Lee getting a mention at the UH celebration last week made me want to vomit. These people don’t care about UH basketball.

Try dealing with them in person when they want to bandwagon and get involved in the ceremonies

At least he’s a coog though right?

It’s different when the politician is one of us which is rare.

In fairness to SJL, she sat in front of me at that awful Armed Forces Bowl (?) in Fort Worth against Kansas in 2005 or thereabouts. And we were in the cheap seats. But I get your point.

I was at that game too and she sat behind me. Michael Young sat with her too. I thought I was big timing it.:grinning:
We also had a basketball game that day against North Texas. The basketball game was better.

can’t hate on a former Coog, most of you “dudes that don’t like sports involved in politics” would’ve probably done the same thing…guess how UT and ATM have so much power in our state?

For all the talk constantly on this board of wanting support from the community, I am surprised anyone has any issue with anyone (regardless of political preferences) offering support for our Coogs. Bandwagon or not I say come one, come all. I don’t care if you are Ted Cruz or SJL, I want everyone to cheer on the Coogs.
