YouTube has video of old Cougar games.

Including Jack Pardee teams.

You can watch his players fly to the football and tackle. Crisp and effective. Hardly ever a missed tackle.

Our current regime is unable to coach defense at that level.

I really believe he wants the buyout and boot. He has no desire to recruit and most high school coaches in the area laugh when his name is brought up.

Doesn’t sound like he has much desire to coach either judging by how he talks about player talent, development and how many snaps they see in a game. Its like he isn’t involved much and just lets the staff handle it.
