That Iowa Colony kid and the UTEP-bound giant sound unreal. This district stays stacked every year

Outstanding.

Willie said he would recruit Texas.

Looks like TEXAS to me…

The Texas OPY, the #1 overall recruit in the country, and a 4-star athlete who can play half the positions on the field.

These 3 all have unlimited potential.

Keisean looks like he’s still growing…

I’m already excited to see who Willie is lining up for the 2027 class…

I lived in Wichita Falls for 4 years.

Went to a lot of HS Games. My oldest son played for the Wichita Falls Coyotes (now closed down). We saw some really good teams from Abilene and Denton.

I know Dallas, Katy, North Ft Worth, Midland / Odessa, are all hotbeds for talent.

I wonder who on the staff recruits these areas?

I can wait for the transfer portal recruits.

The transfer portal will always fill in gaps, and it appears Willie is no slouch at taking advantage of it, but…

The Core of this program, for the future. Is these big, strong, fast, athletic, top tier Texas High School players.

The Coogs 2 deep will be even better, next Fall (2026), and by 2027, UH could have a VERY “stacked” roster…

District 19-6A (Katy ISD) is definitely the SEC of TX HS football.

Eddie Lartigue.

Nate

It was, now North Shore’s District is tops in Houston area now. Summer Creek, CE King, and Atascocita.

Well, hey, I refuse to accept second tier status!

:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Just kidding!

I think that is OPY for Houston not all of Texas.

Congratulations to these young men. Your future is bright.

The TD Club award is considered the “Houston High School Heisman” by the kids in Houston.

The names who have won the award is simply amazing. Lots of Sunday players.

Is he the first Strake Jesuit winner?

Yes. We’ve had scholar athlete award winners but never OPOY

Cecil Shorts coaches at Lamar. On the Texans pregame show he described Hebert going for 344 in the playoff game. “He’s going to Houston, he’s the real deal. He got stronger in the 2nd half and killed us”
