Ummm Goose….we’ve been in a 6man rotation all most all year.
They skipped it when we had the days off but otherwise have used……keeping Hunter fresh.

I was tempted to say 7-man rotation, but my mirth only goes so far.
The concern, if there is one, is the effectiveness of the returning pitchers against major league hitters.
Sandy is a better person.
A 100% real consideration.
The positive is that all these guys coming back have fresh arms……there are gonna be some clunkers while knocking off the rust….but maybe by the time the playoffs start they’ll be dialed in a bit.
Arrighetti was really a stud the second half last year……hope he can pick up where he left off.
Really disappointed they couldn’t add another SP.
Yes Arrighetti should be back soon but I still have major concerns about Javier and Garcia coming off TJ. Plus they’re not going to go deep into games which is going to tax our pen. Really would feel much better if Walter was healthy.
If the Padres were really asking for that haul, I don’t understand why they didn’t spend more of their time looking at the other starter options.
The Cubs DFAs Ryan Pressley. Wow.
Ryan Pressly has been DFA’d by the Cubs.
Hey look, there’s our middle relief help.
Altuve is hot, so I would go back to starting him at the top of the lineup.
Altuve DH
Peña SS
Sanchez LF
Correa 3B
Walker 1B
Diaz C
Smith RF
Urias 2B
Dubon CF
We’ve been winning off chemistry. I hope Correa gives a jolt in that respect. He’s a seasoned veteran now and he knows how much team unity means. I expect him to come in and be as much an emotional plus, smiling and happy and supportive to the young guns. I’m really happy Dana didn’t do anything crazy like letting Brice go. That kid has serious stud potential.
And I hope we beat the sh-- out of the Blow-Sox.
I agree. I think one of the biggest things about this trade is his presence in the clubhouse. I think he could be a big boost, at a time when they really need it.
Yea, he’s a huge presence. He’s gonna pay off in spades working with Brice. And truly I feel bad for Pressly. Good guy, man.
Please do not pick up RP……
One thing not to overlook is that Crane blew right past the tax threshold……
The man cares about winning.
I just wonder if this bullpen is good enough.
If they don’t wear down too much……maybe add Ullola to it for another power arm.
No meatball Presley.
Two writers of The Athletic graded the Astros with a C- and D stating that a team currently riddled with injuries signed another player with a tendency to injury.
Other complaints were Correa’s no trade clause that hindered the Twins ability to get appropriate value, his overall lack of performance as a Twin and Correa was simply another RH bat that the Astros didn’t need.
Blah, blah, blah.
