We may need a total rebuild.
Altuve is at the back end of his career and even keeping him around for the hope of 3,000 hits may be a liability since he can’t play the field anymore.
Correa is still a solid defender but a shell of himself offensively…with little SWAG anymore
Bregman and Tucker are gone and Framber is next.
Yordan, once thought to be possibly our best player ever, is injury prone…compared to a Bagwell who did it ALL (field, base running, slug for power)…Alvarez can only hit.
We have a weak outfield and.other than Hunter Brown…little proven starting pitching
We may need a few bad years to rebuild this thing up as our farm system is W-E-A-K as MLB wanted it with the post 2019 sanctions

Don’t think Crane will ever let that happen.
But if it did can you imagine the haul we’d get for guys like Hunter and Pena….even Yainer.
You could improve the farm massively overnight.
