Leading MLB in most players on the IL with 15. Trammell looks like he’ll be the 16th

I had a feeling Arrighetti was gonna struggle today, that he wouldn’t be as fresh….clearly he doesn’t have his best stuff but atleast he’s battled and kept the team in the ballgame….ir in this case, didn’t turn around and let the Tribe get back in it.

5 IP and 2 runs is a top tier start for the Astros right now.

If we continue this trend, at some point this season, does Espada get shown the door?

100%.

Heck, we have a better manager sitting 6 feet away.

I’d love to see Omar get his shot.

Getting rid of Espada without getting rid of Dana is like cutting off your hand because your arm hurts

Paredes may be awakening from his early-season hibernation.

Yeah, when Espada goes he needs to have company.

And he was a bomb…,much like Dana’s top picks in Houston.

Trammell to the IL with a groin strain. 16th Astro to hit the IL.

They brought up Daniel Johnson, a sub-.200 hitter who they recently plucked off the garbage pile a couple of days ago, and they DFA’d Christian Roa to make room for him.

Wild stuff.

Roa has more value….crazy.

Can someone give Cole some shots in his toe already……Ce looks like Andruw Jones compared to Dana’s tomato can express.

So Lambert was supposed to start the game….Weiss was told 30 minutes before game time he had the ball.

WTH is going on with this coaching staff.

Piss poor is too much of a compliment.

Even tomato cans are getting injured

We’re like 3 tomato cans deep now.

I think if we can keep both Cam and Matthews it’ll be a good starting core. If they keep Alvarez you have three good kids in their twenties. Then you have Cole. And Loperfido looks like he’s starting to get comfortable. A piece here and there and rebuild our pitching top to bottom of the franchise. 2029 might be a good year.

We have some talent on the farm….unfortunately most of it is in one of the two A ball teams.

I talked about Will Bush last year….he is out playing Janak by a mile in Corpus.

There are some arms that are closer now.

Upside on the farm but slow starts from some of the bigger names. Neyens striking out in half his at bats, Alvarez limited slug so far and Janek just kinda sucks.

I know Alvarez will be fine( he is also super young for the league, kid is barely 18) i was concerned with Neyens swing and miss when they drafted him.

Wakefield looks promising( already 22 though)kid can absolutely fly and is not void of power.

Camilo Diaz and Anthony Huezo are future Astros IMO.

But some of Dana’s college bats he took Early in the draft suck.
