I see Hunter look good on pitches and even ABs but rarely over a full inning and hardly ever for a game. Yeah his stuff is impressive but you are paid to win in the bigs.
Then we have a whole pitching staff that needs to be sent down.
Hunter was better than Montero, Abreu and Hader. What are they getting paid to do?

Are we not going to address the massive slump Yordan is in? I know we want to get Loperfido AB’s and he’s done well. But, Yordan has produced at the plate much more when he is starting in LF. He needs to be out there more than he is.

Honestly, if that happens I’m okay….we had an amazing 7 year run.
If we need to trade some guys to refresh the farm a bit I’m not gonna be upset.
If it’s played correctly it does not need to be a rebuild, just a “reset”….
JC doesn’t like to lose and he has proven he will spend $$$$, I mean damn, we are third in the league.
But we need to spend it correctly……Montero, Abreu, Hader, not so much.

My concern with that is that I’m not sure we have the right people in charge to make good decisions in a a reset/retool.

I am tired of Bregmans slow starts. He has now become the new Abreu. Him not coming through with runners in scoring position time and time again is costing us games.
Like I said you can’t win a pennant in April/May but you sure can lose one.

I hate saying Hader is a bad deal because he’s got that electric movement down low. But stats are stats. Comparatively he’s cost us some games.
