No because if you roll through a stop sign you directly broke the law. Thats not an accurate description of Altuves involvement. He didn’t participate in the sign stealing. He was just on the team and had knowledge of it. Same as any number of pitchers on the team. His role is more like being a passenger in a car that rolls a stop sign. You could say he was involved in a traffic stop but no officer would be giving him a ticket.
Saying he cheated is like saying Derek Jeter cheated because all of his teammates were juicing. You can say he should’ve spoken up but you can’t say he cheated.
You’re right. Sir, I’m just drifting through time and space. I wake up in a different world every twenty minutes. I hate five games series. But that’s a part of life now.
What position does the Houston Astros plan to play Carlos Correa next year?
How about moving him to the outfield? That would help the astros get more offense from the outfield position!
I for one hope the franchise isn’t putting too much emphasis on Correa as part of the resurgence. Correa is still a good ball player but I think Paredes needs to stay at 3rd.
What you do from there is still wrought with danger. Probably just keep Walker for one more year and keep your offensive production steady on the corners.
The outfield is a pil that has to be solved or the team isn’t going anywhere. And Altuve is getting close to being an “only offense” contributor.
i reply to a post that replied to me. unlike the brewer that unintentionally cheated the padres out of a win when the padres hitter’s ball hit the roof and was called out that would have certainly been a go ahead home run, the astros’s cheating was intentional and altuve, as the face of it; will continue to be heckled until he retires.
To all those chastising Astros fans for their booing of piss poor performances in the play offs, should have just heard the 7th inning just now in the Bronx. Thunderous boos by the yankees faithful. They get big boy bucks, they can get big boy booing.
