I do not like that projected line of events at all. Joey has been a great addition to the team of late.
It should be Kessinger that goes down.
Dubon can play any infield position and Joey can play first and second base….he has played plenty of both.
Cabbage should go down for Chas( who btw has been terrible in rehab assignment).
5 of 23 with just two xbh and 6 k’s.
JoLo is batting .333, and in his last 7 games, .391. The more he plays, the better he gets. No way he is sent down.
Play the season is in quarters.
Q1 15-25
Q2 6-1
Get to 81 at .500 and I’d say we’re in good shape for the 2nd half. All we have to manage is a 21-15 record.
I’m hoping for a better close out of Q2 but .500 is solid for with 81 to go and the pitching staff getting healthy.
A DuBomb from Dubie!
Perhaps the most under appreciated player in MLB.
What in the world was coach thinking leaving Framber in long enough to give up 8 runs, including seven in the fifth? Geez
Oof can’t believe how much Framber struggled against this putrid Halo offense smh
Angels have a 7 run inning and Espada does nothing.
Lucy, you have some splaining to do.
He should have been yanked when we were up 6-4.
I just don’t have much confidence in this bunch but still hoping for the best.
Framber looked like he was pitching batting practice in that fifth
After it was 6-4 , he let the next two runners on base……was there even a talks to let the pen really heat up? I don’t think so……then throws a cement mixer right down the chute for another 3 run HR….still not even a meeting.
If they lose this one you can actually blame Espada for being asleep at the wheel.
Looks like the pitching staff and Manager decided to take a day off.
Stros trying to be the 2nd team this year to let the Halos get to double digits. The other was Miami, so definitely not the kind of list you want to be on.
The pitch-calling has been suspect, too.
Framber reverted to that thing where he loses focus and just kind of throws BP pitches. Those dudes looked like they knew what was coming.
That is one they should have won.
I have been saying for awhile that I think the division has figured out Framber.
Framber’s biggest problem is between his ears.
Framber has problems when Framber starts listening to Framber.
My guess…Espada kept hoping Framber would pitch his way out of the inning without creating more damage, but it didn’t work out. I’m reasonably sure he was concerned about his bullpen and was reluctant to make a pitching change that early in the game.
I watched the game off and on so I didn’t see everything….the radio guys are say after the 4th that Framber left the reservation and started shaking off Yainer almost every pitch and doing what he wanted….completely abandoned the game plan they had.
That happened some, but the homer Montero gave up was on an 0-2 fastball after 2 previous fastballs …… in practically the same location.
Maybe he just missed his spot, but that wasn’t a major league pitch sequence.
