They don’t even try……they look like the GD Bad News Bears……and then they quit.

And everyone on this board had to know they were gonna walk it off….Montero kept throwing the exact same pitch over and over right down the chute.
This is a team that plays the same way their manager coaches……like dog sh-t.

Hader threw 10 pitches in the 9th, but he can’t pitch in the 10th?
Espada is by a wide margin the worst manager in MLB. He’s been dealt a difficult hand with injuries and the bullpen collapsing, but he doesn’t do anything to adjust to the situation. He’s like f’ing Kim Helton and is determined to run it into the line.
The players need someone else that won’t put up with this crap game after game and that will hold them responsible.

The Kim Helton analogy is spot on. His mind set is “this is what we do” no matter what the results are and “I have faith in him” even though there is nothing to base that faith on.
Ramos experienced a brain malfunction. Even a little leaguer knows to run on a hit ball with the bases loaded. That was embarrassing to watch.

The team has no leadership in the manager’s chair or in the clubhouse. Sometimes losing a guy like Correa means more than just his stats.

Dana needs to pull a Billy Bean and not give Espada any other options than Joey.
Four nights ago I could have sworn I heard “ Loperfido needs to be playing” out of Dana’s mouth……he then sat for the next three games……IDIOTS
I personally think if Loperfido was put in the lineup at 1st or the OF and left alone for a couple of weeks he would show he 100% belonged here….
But even if they are not 100% sure, you just blew a call up for no damn reason.
I don’t know who is pulling who’s tail but Dana and Joe are coming off as complete idiots.
By all means, let’s get that THIRD catcher up , I’m sure he’ll pay huge dividends.

The only way this move makes any sense is if they’re going to put one of the other catchers at 1B. Since that hasn’t happened all year, I’m going with “doesn’t make sense” absent some kind of unreported injury. Didn’t Diaz get his hand knicked by a foul ball?
Sending Loperfido down means they’re happy with what they have in the OF, with Cabbage being the extra guy.
