At this moment, not knowing how things will play out this season, I will gladly take Sweet 16…although I think we have a shot to go beyond that. It is so awesome that we’re now considered a perennial Sweet 16 team.
I’m normally conservative when predicting basketball outcomes, but not nervous at all calling E8 as our floor. Can’t predict a ceiling until January.
What a wonderful time to be a Coog
Anytime we get past the first weekend it is a positive. Then we just roll the dice and hope to beat a couple of others teams playing really good ball who can match up with our Coogs.
Like hearing that White has been working on the corner 3. Just like Gorham last season he’s going to get numerous looks from there and hopefully he can knock them down like Justin did.

It’s nice to see a national publication not automatically handing the conference title to Memphis based solely on recruiting.
I am crazy excited about this season; even more so now that football appears to be mediocre at best. Just 40 days until Montana Tech!
I like how he got to his spot but I’d really like to see him square up more and not drift.
On the other hand, if he could hit that shot with regularity, that’s completely unguardable.

At least Athlons put a UH player on the cover (Saaser, right?). Lindy’s my favorite for info but reluctant to put a UH player on the cover for several/many years running (what will it take? … please don’t feed me marketing bs), but does have UH as the conference champion pick AND they LOVE Robbie Armbrester. Among other mentions of him, named him best shooter in the conference!!!
