Got to fish Manor once. Wife’s uncle was a guide there. Had free grilled yellowfin tuna after we fished. Knew the chef Cecilio who made a fantastic sauce. That was Brown & Root corporate lake.

My brother ran with the kid across the street where they raised the hybrid bass. They have exotics there now.
My go-to was a gold Johnson spoon with a pork rind trailer. Killer.

Can anybody still even fish in the big lakes anymore? Gators used to take bass while you were trying to catch them. Brother caught a 2 and half pounder once and I watched while a bigger bass slid off the 2.5 pounder!
