4th Best 13-5 in Quad 1 (Michigan State) - Won 72% of Q1 Games
5th Best 10-4 in Quad 1 (Florida) - Won 71% of Q1 Games - could be 11-4 if they beat Tennessee (winning right now)

We also went 10-0 Road - 20-4 (Quad 1&2) - Winning over 83% of Q1/Q2 Games, whereas Auburn is 22-5 in (Quad 1&2) - Winning 81% of their Q1/Q2.

Can you imagine how much better we would have been if we had played a “true” road game in non-conference like Cincinnati did?

Great info, thanks. Also, it’s not only that we are 1st in q1 win percentage, but also that we are first by a HUGE margin of 6%. That is a larger spread than between the 2d team and the 5th team (5%).

And we did this all after starting 0-3 in q1 games (IIRC–Alabama, Auburn and SDSU). So since then the only q1 loss was Tech at home, which was razor thin anyway.

SDSU was a Q2 game, as I understand things.

They ended the year at 51 so 1 spot off a Q1 loss
