Houston players fight each other during heated sideline melee against Kansas

I must have missed those games.

I’m not sure Dr. Khator wants this type of publicity.

It wasn’t a “wild fight” , one player shoved another on the sidelines and the other shoved back and the players standing by separated them . It lasted all of 3 seconds. As usual, it’s a mountain out of a mole hill. Just something else to blame the team for.

Because they wear shorts and flip flops they are undisciplined?

No - I agree that’s not a leading indicator
but lagging indicator is that this team is undisciplined and self destructs with penalties. Very frustrating to see effort going to waste.

Did you see the video G? They wound up on the ground. Was a little more than a shoving match.

It was literally one shove and the player that got shoved grabbed onto the shoving player as he was falling to the ground and took the shoving player with him.

Oh. Looked like there as a bit more to it. But guess I was wrong.

According to WVU fans all the players and one staffer that went after Manjack are all former Mountaineers.

I have seen fights in hs, etc in practice. It can happen. Not a big deal. Honestly in some ways I don’t think it’s such a bad thing. Shows passion.

Well one aspect is they called unsportsmanlike on both players not just ours so it’s a little different.

People who never played organized sports is starting to show.

Coaches can only preach so much. Manjack decided to hold Sam Brown accountable for a dumb action. Maybe these stupid penalties will start to resonate with the players. Once your teammates start to get in your face.

This is a big nothing burger.

And Manjack should be made a captain. Not removed from the team.

We need to get cody jackson the ball more

I don’t think so. The way I saw it Brown was walking toward the Coog sideline and then walked into and bumped the Kansas player.
It was not really a flagrant bump but enough that the KU player thought a second and then flopped. That’s when the flag came out.
I certainly don’t remember in that incident both players getting penalized, just Brown

There were several post-play talking/pushing incidents between Brown (and I presume) the same KU CB.

But it eventually ended with both being penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct. Manjack came over to break up that shoving match, and the sideline was the continuation, I guess. I sit on the visitors’ side, so I didn’t see anything that happened on our side.

This team is undisciplined on offense, special teams, and especially defense.

When you lose, you have to shake things up. Start some of the back-ups, bench some of the starters, and most importantly hold everyone accountable. Without discipline, we can’t win any games.

Ok well we are thinking of two different incidents. Both players were called on one play but not the one I saw
I did not see he incident between Manjsck an Brown happen but the incident I saw was solely on Brown as he was leaving the field

i went back to watch the full clip within 3 yards there where 3 coaches including Dana. Coaches don’t give a damn about setting an example. No discipline
He said that they needed to cut down on the stupid flags from the previous weeks. I see no improvement.

I doubt it would have been an issue if the camera hadn’t luckily caught it.

Two college teammates had a fight. That is not newsworthy.

If they had a fight and we won we would not be discussing this.

Winning solves all problems.
