Houston QB Greg Ward Jr. gives opponents plenty of problems
“That’s just the will to win,” Ward says. “There’s nothing else. I do it for the guys next to me, not for myself. I’m not ever going to quit. Never stop. There’s nothing you can do to stop me. You can throw anything at me.”
The Aztecs may have to throw everything and anything at Ward in the Las Vegas Bowl.
SDSU head coach Rocky Long realizes that still might not be enough to win.
“He’s the best one we’ve played against all year long,” Long said. “The biggest challenge is to keep him in the pocket and make him throw it, and then he throws for 300 yards a game. So I don’t know if that’s right, but that’s what we’re going to try to do.”
