I see D.King playing multiple offense positions. And the emergency 3rd QB. He’s such a play maker!

While the article was a good one and adequately covered the three players depicted, it failed to mention Bowman Sells. Should Allen get the nod at QB, which is assumed by many, but confirmed by none, then I would think that King would remain as a WR – and maybe even Postma would be moved to that position also.

King has too much speed and athleticism to not be on the field as much as possible. Postma is also a very good receiver and has a height advantage over most DB’s. I don’t know just how fast he is, but he seems to be able to get open which is often more important than pure speed – see Fred Biletnikoff.

That leaves Sells as a backup to the starter – assuming he doesn’t have a super spring and fall camp to win the starting nod.

Oh yeah, then we will have a freshman coming in the fall as well. Yeah, too many talented players is a problem most coaches would love to have.

Honest question… what offensive records did the Herman era set? I know Greg Ward set several individual records, and kudos to him. Were any offensive team records set?

Most lies in a 12 month period… they were pretty offensive.

You didn’t know? Houston is a new program and before lucking their way into Tom Herman didn’t really do anything of note
