H-Town on the jerseys is just lazy. Why is it so hard to have Houston on them or just Rockets. The love affair with H-Town is just bad to me. I would be cool with Space City or The Bayou City at least thats unique to Houston.

The theme is city edition so not surprising they use a nickname. Anyways the real point of doing these themes is to sell tickets and sell merch. It works, or they wouldn’t keep doing it. Then there’s the added benefit of someone like me who does not follow the NBA taking notice and spreading awareness of the NBA online.
