I beg to differ. It is a combination of the two. A tall 6’8" with quick feet will be a wall of protection against a shorter 6’4" quick OL. The Patriots have made it one of their recipes to success. We were playing inexperienced freshman at 6’6’ or under. Our seniors at 6’4" or under could not protect Greg effectively. They were over matched by bigger and taller players. The good news is that these freshman will have greatly matured by then. I still would like to see some 6’7" or 6’8" recruits. I will add the same for our TE’s. McCloskey played great but he is only 6’2". Just imagine his brain in a 6’6" body? Our taller TE’s were freshman so they too should step up too. Again, think of a 6’6/6’7" TE recruit. This would do wonder for our offense…any offense. Remember Ladarius Green? He played great at LT. I believe he is 6’6". We gotta find these players. Yes, easier said than done.
