Ya know, when I was a little kid, Schlitz was on its last leg.
They offered a “premium” beer called Erlanger. It was my Dad’s all-time favorite for a few years; we even have a glass Erlanger sign from that period in my Mom’s house today.
Sadly, it went away after a few years in the early 80s, and Schlitz as a brand was pretty much history not long after that.
