This is contrary to what I have been advocating but what if the UH Athletic Department announced that they were changing the Houston Blue game to TCU. The Athletic Department understands the passion that longtime fans have for scarlet red and albino white, and to celebrate UH’s past, present, and future, UH will wear the traditional home red and white unis, with a red helmet, against Texas Tech. UH will wear the Houston Blue on 11/22/25 against TCU.

I think that would supercharge the UH fan base.
