This is a very bad loss, at home no less. The state of this program is a disaster, especially when compared to the men’s program. This program should never lose to a Southland Conference team but yet here we are.

Bc we are paying Dana 14 million to do nothing. We are handcuffed to him and the baseball coach for now.
Only 8 players played last night (and one of those eight hurt her ankle last night so it’s now just 7). No Laila Blair - the team’s best player. We may be looking at a repeat of TCU from last year.
They lost 2 starters before the season and Blair was out but this game should have been won. They may not win a game in conf this year

Not true.
It does not cost hardly anything to replace these two coaches with competent replacements.
The new AD will fire both at seasons end….both programs are an absolute embarrassment to the school and alumni.
I don’t expect us to be title contenders in every sport, every year, but we have zero business have any program that is pathetic.
Add softball and that mess to the group.

I agree and women’s hoops is an easy win if you get the right coach in place. Texas has a lot women’s hoops talent and the state of the roster is unacceptable.

There’s a huge drop off of talent after the top few - trust me the top girl is light years ahead of the 10th ranked girl

Oh I believe you but we should be in on girls 2-6 most years if we had a good coach. They let Kansas St come in and take the 2nd best player.
Even #7 going to A&M East Texas.
There’s players on that list still uncommitted. It’s not too late, right? I double dare Coach Hughey to say publicly “that ship has sailed”. Lol.
