Beating teams in the run category is probably the most important metric in football. And that feature almost got us to 4-0 and a top 12-15 ranking. It will likely save our season because all 11 struggle vs the pass.

By the by the heart of Coach Yeoman’s Mad Dog defense was the limiting opponents to below 100 yards rushing per game.
His Veer running game ate up clock time. But the opponents could not do the same because they couldn’t run the football.

What we might have is a worse run defense as teams pass less and run more.
