So my 87 year old Dad( UH grad of 1958) is in the hospital(prayers please) and he needs to go to a skilled nursing facility for rehab. We found a place and the representative came to visit with us in the hospital and the rep was former reciever Elrick Brown, twin brother of Delrick former qb. My Dads spirits were lifted as we discussed all things about the coogs from days past, cotton bowls and more. What fun it was!
That’s a great Cougar story. Prayers for your Dad and hopefully he gets better.
Thanks Patrick!
Great story Rick. Many prayers for your Dad. Go Coogs.
Prayers for your dad Rick.
GREAT story!!! God bless and multiple prayers for your dad. If I had any connections I would send a historic Coog every day for a visit to keep his spirits high.
I think I remember watching Delriclk Brown play. Best I recall he was smooth and graceful but also quick and fast. I started at UH in 1977. We were both born in the year of the Chevy, T-Bird, and Vette… 1957
Thanks everyone!
Prayers for your Dad and your family.
Great story Rick and you can bet we are praying for your dad…
I’m old enough to remember Delrick Brown. I am praying for your father.
