So maybe it’s best to let Dana stick with Tune so that the team would lose a bunch of games and Dana would get fired after the season? Hmmm. Not a bad strategy actually!
I do think Ike > Tune but I’m not paid $4 million to make that assessment.

Reminds me of Coach Chick-fil-A hanging on to John O’Korn when he had Greg Ward available. For the life of me I couldn’t understand. It was clear to me as a plain old fan what the answer was. I kept telling myself that I should believe what a trained professional said was right instead of my lying eyes. Is this Groundhog Day??

Isn’t Ike supposed to be a dual threat? He didn’t really do much with his legs. I recall one 10-yard rush, but that’s it.
What should we make of that? I’m hoping CDH’s plan was to avoid getting Ike hit when he could win the game with his arm. When Ike needs to be a dual threat, he will be a dual threat.
He’s earned a shot. Like that he’s got a chance to grow with this schedule instead of throwing to the dogs right out the chute. He’s smart kid sure he’s seen on tape some throws he’s got to fix vs a team with a pulse

Says he is a junior. Redshirted in 2017 and last season does not count against him so that leaves 2018, 2019, 2021 and next season. That’s my best guess – I will leave it to the experts to tear it apart.
I think we went into the game with a plan to limit QB running plays because of Tune’s hammy
