You could say the muff punt that was given back to TT played a roll, we did hold them to FG’s, their D was just too strong. Crowd was good though. Overall this team is light years better than last year, great to see the turn around. Hopefully the fans will see this team as the solid B12 team it is,.CWF has done a remarkable job.
How long did it take EaDo to turn over? 3rd Ward near campus is already pricey property
You can’t fix traffic. Its just something to complain about.
Any event that has good attendance has traffic. There is no way around it.
Moving our stadium off campus would be terrible move. As a student would you rather walk across campus to a game or line up to take a bus?
Johnny, if there were 30K butts in the seats for TCU, about 5K of them were in disguise as empty seats.
Cool…maybe, this will help it no longer be the embarassing armpit of the city.
How much do you spend on your armpits?
Not sure…ill have to add up my soap and deodorant costs.
You?
I got robbed at gunpoint on that street lol
Yeah…those areas are called the arm pits because they are gross and make you sweat.
A student got shot walking home to Cambridge Oaks when i was an undergrad.
The area still needs a major facelift
" There is a reason there is a 3 point home field advantage every game."
There is a home field advantage but it doesn’t apply to this team. We are undefeated on the road.
“There is a reason we are undefeated on the road in front of sold out, loud, hostile crowds…”
Baylor was a quiet crowd barely 33k in the stands for their standards. Oregon St and Oklahoma st were not “sold out” crowds. Oregon St was barely 29k people.
Part of the reason why Houston does well on the road is the focus of this team on the road.
Beating Katy, North Shore and Hightower back to back to back really did wonders for Madison.
Hell, it took Westlake everything they had to outscore them in the semis.
I think Madison would have been a better matchup with Lufkin in the state championship that year
If we could just get the 5000-6000 inside premium AC building and people under concourse plus the 3000 still tailgating problem solved!
I saw the Madison vs. North Shore game that year with VY under center in the 'Dome. High-scoring game that matched the hoopla
Louisville had a similar problem after they built their stadium. That was before we built TDECU and it’s a shame our design didn’t take that problem of optics into consideration. Luckily our club seats aren’t on tv.
