When you are making bowl games at Tulane, then you know how to coach.
He coaches to his personnel. At SHSU they were high flying and had Flanders at RB.
At GSU, they were triple option.
At Tulane he has been innovative on O because he has to be.
Alas, probably at his last stop before retirement.

Plus with Fritz, you know what kind of offense he runs. He said it himself, he runs an offense to whatever the player’s skillsets are.

Last years chronic bad luck has reversed for Tulane. 3-0 with S. Miss up next.
Willie had an Elite 11 QB committed for a few months this summer. Ended up losing him to Penn State. Case is his comparison. Tough loss.

Id like to see him have a team that contends for a conference title…getting bowl eligible really isn’t difficult.
He was competing for national titles at SHSU. Won the conference at GSU. And it is a miracle what he has done at Tulane.
After what he did to Kansas State, he will certainly beat us.

They were bowl eligible two years ago at 6-6, just got left out. They even had a year where they beat SMU but the refs screwed up the game at the end. Should have been a Tulane win.
Winning 7 games per year at Tulane is no easy task.
This year he is off to a 3-0 start so they are going to be dangerous. Nice win at Kansas State.

Its not looking good for all the overhype on us running the table and Tune a Heisman candidate to total meltdown we are primed for an embarrassment.
Fritz is a good coach but a hard to sell to boosters. He really shouldn’t have taken the Tulane job. In the last 20 years Tulane has won 6 or more games four times and Fritz was three of them. Why did he take that job?
Fritz is a good coach but we’d be complaining he can’t sell our program and get people fired up like Herman. We don’t need a coach to help sell tics or fire people up like Herman which is bush league. Kelly that Lsu hired or oregan before him weren’t great salesmen. Dana will get it done here if he gets a dual threat or coley is that along with a coordinator. We’ve won recently with the vanilla offense and a strong defense. We just lost some great players to the nfl on def. and we played some very good dual threat qbs which mess up most defenses. I’m convinced we need a dual threat next yr or a case like guy or unleash tune to run more this yr. He made a lot of first downs when nothing was there.
