I don’t understand the choices in the OP. Nebraska? To the Big 12? It ain’t happening.
Given the remaining choices, I would rather the Big 12 not expand at all and just wait for the ACC to implode

I agree with everyone that stated including Nebraska tips the scales. Of the non-P4s, here are some average attendance figures:

I can assure you that the Big 12 presidents will not agree to replace Texas Tech with a G5 school.
It’s not going to happen. UConn was an outlier because their basketball program is ELITE, but the Big 12 presidents clearly didn’t bank on UConn building up their football program.
If Texas Tech is actually expelled, they would likely not add another school at all.

I think the argument for sdsu is that they are good at basketball. Okay at football. In really fertile recruiting grounds.
And I like to vacation in San Diego.

The revenue that SDSU would bring to the Big 12 (which is worse than just derivative) would literally reduce the Big 12 pie to a major net negative relative to their overall market presence.
You also have to factor that SDSU would cost even more in respect of travel costs for all Big 12 incumbent programs.
IF the Big 12 made the dumb decision to add any one of the schools in the OP, it would have to be a mid-west school or southeastern.
But again, Big 12 ain’t adding a G5 school.

It wouldn’t surprise me if UCF barely pulls 500k views per game.
Edit: I looked it up on wildute’s twitter. 520,000 for this last year.
Also, I agree. No more g5 schools are making the jump.
Different situation, different time. The Big 12 HAD to expand when UT/OU left.
Cincy - Ohio market
UCF - Central/South Florida market
BYU → National
UH → UH, Tech, Baylor & TCU are essentially a combination of 4 markets to compete against 2 major brands (UT/A&M)
The 4 G5 additions didn’t reduce the pie or add to it per se, rather it literally saved the conference from implosion.

USC, ucla, oregon, washington, fsu, Clemson, miami, gtech, arkansas, nebraska and missouri.
Would you take SMU?
Tech will not be expelled…they bring too much to this conference to get booted out. OU and Texas leaving took away most of the glitter from the Big 12, and although it would not have near that impact, it would still be a huge loss.
It is not going to happen. If Tee Tee leaves it will be for the SEC…

It makes sense that everybody in the Big 12 would want a bigger cut. Having said that, kicking TT out is a loser… NFW that happens. Somebody will blink. It will be Tech.

The BIG12 has no choice but to forfeit any games that teetech play with sorsby. That is as simple as that. Yormark has to have the cojones to do it. He is the commissioner. The buck stops there.

After reading the comments, my unscientific poll is that there is no non-P4 school that would increase the marketability of the B12, and thus, bring more money into the conference and increase the payouts to each school. I can’t see any B1G or SEC school leaving their conference, so the only growth potential of the B12 is poaching a dissatisfied ACC school, which is a longshot. More likely, in my opinion, is some ACC schools are invited to join the B1G or SEC, and the B12 selects from the remaining schools.
Since expansion could be tied to the conference media contracts, here are the contract expiration dates:
ACC - 2036
B1G - 2030
B12 - 2031
SEC - 2034
Back to the original topic, Texas Tech is not leaving the B12, and even if it did, there is no P4 that would be willing to take its place.
