If we get Francis back somehow …

… you can expect 9 even 10 player rotation and not worry too much about bigs getting in foul trouble. That’s dope! That’s HUGE!

Even if JF doesn’t return, — depending the development of McCarty, McFarland or Lath, — we can be up to 5-6 deep at C/F meaning we can see an over abundance of fouls to give down low.

As CKS said “we foul here”.

Don’t want to get too optimistic or anything but we should hard to dunk on next year. :heart_eyes_cat:

don’t put any stock in francis back… I listened to a pod about the main Case and the Other case by zakai zieglar… the ncaa ntends to fully fight this and win… a similar case on expand eligibility that failed 3 years ago

NIL has changed since then but their is little optimism it’ll pass. and the off chance it passes, the ncaa will appeal it all the way to the supreme court, months to years of litigation … that it wouldn’t affect the current cycle

My JohnnyCougar meter on Francis coming back is nominally minuscule but there it is.

I don’t understand what the NCAA would have against expanding eligibility.

More eligibility leads to better teams/programs leads to more demand leads to more TV money.

Give the kids 5 years eligibility. No more redshirt BS.

It pushes incoming freshman out. They dont get the same opportunities as they did years ago. Wouldn’t mind him back but im not sweating it either.

Ja’Vier also probably wants the opportunity to start. And he deserves it.

To this point I have not heard a thing about Francis returning.

How in the hell do you listen to so many podcasts…

Absolutely and neither have I but I’m just saying that it would, however unlikely :sunglasses:, remove a little bit of bigs fouling out problems. I’m just dreaming here during the longest offseason in history.
