Indiana Wijay Accepted Into the Honors College

You know Damn right

Happy for Indiana. I’m hoping he succeeds here, on & off the field as a Legacy Recruit.

Also, I have to give CDH credit where it’s due: He constantly emphasizes in interviews how he strongly encourages players to finish their degrees.

And he walks the talk when it comes to this. The reason we didn’t see breakout RB, Stacey Sneed, hit the field sooner was because of poor grades.

And there was a highly-recruited, local 3 Star WR (I’m forgetting his name atm) that didn’t make the cut because he couldn’t get his grades up enough to come to UH.

Bill and Ted’s most excellent HP.

New regime coming in. They’re in great hands.

I remember when Coach Yeoman was talking to us at a Taxi Squad luncheon and was asked why some QB that was supposed to be really good wasn’t getting any playing time. He said he wasn’t going to waste his time on a kid that he can’t count on going to class and staying in school or words to that effect.

I was talented enough to be in both the Honors Program AND the Honors College.

I wasn’t in the Honors Program, but I was encouraged to take 2 HP classes. I’m sure it was only so those classes had enough bodies to make. Anyway, one of them met in the basement. If I recall, it was just a nondescript stairwell leading down to a door, on the outside of the library.

It looks a lot different now.

It’s a freakin Taj Mahal now !
I wanna go back
