Indiana

One thing when looking at historical bowl records is to know that for 50-60 years only one team from the Big Ten went bowling. You went to Pasadena or you went nowhere. It was sometime in the mid 1970s that changed.

I always assumed people in Indiana supported Notre Dame for college football and Indiana for basketball.

I just wish these guys being interviewed would do it old school WWF style, “Meeeeeaaannnn Geneeeeeeeeeee…!!!” lol

That’s probably true to a great extent, UNLESS you are a Purdue alum.

Indiana was 3-9 and in their usual doormat status the year before Cignetti got there. His first year they were picked dead last by the pundits and football mags. Instead he went 11-1 and made the playoffs. Cignetti turned around the program. CWF is the same kind of coach and can do the same kind of thing.

We’ve heard plenty of what Purdue fans have to say after we beat their basketball team. They can go back to their Legos for all I care.

Okay :slightly_smiling_face:

Are you saying you can beat Ohio State and Oregon and Michigan with JMU players?

James Madison was a great winning program and those guys know how to win…I am sure they helped Cignetti turn around the losing culture at Indiana. So yeah…He’s saying Indiana beat all 3 of those teams and the JMU players we no doubt part of it, because they were, werent they?

JMU players can bring over the culture, the mindset, and it’s easier when you have half or 1/3 of the players buy in. IMO.

Those players were developed at JMU

I’m mostly referring to making it easier for Cignetti to implement his culture since the JMU players can relay that to the other players. But JMU was really good in Cignetti’s last year (11-1). So Cignetti brought the best players from a top G5 team. That’s no different than some of the top performing G5 guys we are bringing in this year. The difference is those guys were already familiar with Cignetti’s style.

Has anyone posted this yet?

They are a VETERAN team, no doubt…a big reason they are so dominant.

Is anybody picking the Canes?

Got to go with the Hoosiers.

I 'm going with the Hoo…Hoo…Hoo
…Hoosiers!

After the shite they talked regarding coach Sampson, fudge Indiana. Go Canes!

I think Indiana wins by two TDs

There’s no reason to think Indiana won’t easily beat Miami. On he other hand even fat cows drop dead; nothing is guaranteed.

Glory…Glory… Indiana, She’s the Pride of Indiana…
