It appears there is a fear of the uncertainty of the process.
Just guys who are projected mid-late 2nd round or undrafted. Its tougher for international guys if they don’t get the full draft process and if they don’t get drafted they will quickly disappear off NBA radars. Easier for Americans to play in the G-League to stay in the spotlight or get summer workouts the following year after playing overseas.
