Interesting. Unlike interstates today that connect major cities, the proposed interstate 14 would go through small cities and towns.
Who knew North Zulch might get an interstate?!? ![]()
Isn’t the point of traveling on interstate highways to skip all of those speed traps… I mean small towns…?
Let the civil engineers do their job and keep the fat cats out of the design process… ![]()
Actually, nevermind… This should definitely reduce my trip time from Raleigh to Houston… EXPEDITE IT!
North Zulch is unincorporated, so no need to worry about North Zulch PD.
It’s going to take them forever to plan, aquire land and build this thing. Depending on how old you are, you may not see the completion or even the start of it.
I’ve been waiting on I-69 through east Texas to be finished for 20 years now, and they have only completed it through Houston. I’m not holding my breath.
My guess is that they will start construction of I-14 in about 30 years. At least our grandkids and great grandkids will be able to use it.

If it’ll alleviate I-10 traffic, I’m all for it. No lane discipline between here and San Antonio.
Get ready for the uberplex of Huntsville!
