Last year

I can vouch for this Chris. I sold my KU tiks also bc we were going to be in Austin that weekend as my daughter celebrates her Bday on day of KU gm. Can’t remember $$ exactly but i made somewhere in $ 380-400/ ticket on that gm alone. Im in sec 116 so decent but not anywhere to great seats.

Where are your seats? I got $250 per seat, payout $225. And my season tix cost way more than that. Section 114, chairbacks.

Idr what the pricing has been last year but this year pricing is nowhere close to last.

Are there seats in the arena that don’t have chairbacks?

My Baylor seats are listed for $90 each and have been since the start of the season. Still haven’t sold.

I agree. Last year was novelty.

Sorry, “sideline chairbacks”

They have cushy seats and aren’t hard plastic like the endzone seats.

I’m in the first 5 rows of the gray section

So you paid way more than $427.50/seat for your season tix. That game didn’t pay for your season.

Section 115 front rows
we have sold Bama, ISU or KU games for 350ea almost making my annual $775/seat. Big games our group of 6 leave wifes and kids home

I’ve given away and sold some of my seats for games I can’t attend on and off for four years now. Last year was really the only year you could make money on basketball seats if you wanted. I keep hearing ticket brokers have seats, but I don’t see how they make money on them. This year tickets on Stubhub have been listed for as low as $2 a game and still not sold.

Good. Hope they stop buying them and the fans on the waiting list get an option to buy.

Midweek buy games are giveaway tickets. TCU got as low as $15-20 but no other conference games have been that bad
You can flip a season ticket for profit anywhere in the arena, except for super premium stuff, I don’t know about that. Look at baseline chairbacks $475 for the season, BYU $65, Tech $120, ISU $150, Kansas $140, these are conservative leaving all of non-conference, TCU, WVU, UU, OSU, Baylor, and Cinn to make profit, you won’t get rich but you are not losing money unless you don’t put the effort in. Football chairbacks is where I can’t see turning a profit. At this point I imagine at least 1000 of our tickets are resellers, many may not even live in Houston.

Don’t see any sense selling these premium games to other people unless you just can’t make it, these prime games don’t come along that often I don’t want to miss them!

I was just responding to the statement, I don’t see how they make money on them, refering to ticket resellers.
