See, i dont get this. I was always under the impression that the arena was sold out and that there’s this “waiting list.” This contradicts everything. Are we then selling our tickets to Tickemaster and shafting fans/alums???
I remember back, many years ago, when my knees would hold up to falling (sometimes under control) down a snow covered mountain. Tahoe was the last time with good knees. Did manage to give a few trips down the mountains above Butch and Sundance’s first bank robbery location, but knees were killing me those days.
Some people can sell their tickets to one game and pay for their entire season. Can’t fault people for that, especially with prices going up so much the last 2 years.
What game is that possible for? None of the ticket prices are even coming close.
I sold Kansas, ISU and UT last season…I made $800 on my two tickets. No where close to paying for my season and those just happened to be the games I was out of town for (Presidents weekend and spring break) and the best tix for the year.

I have season tickets and sell a majority of them, we will go to 5 games this year, I won’t make a much money, I am not trying to, but it’s how I got my wife to approve the purchase. I try to sell to Cougars when I can, but sometime they want to pay 25% of the open market so its hard.
ISU will be the most expensive ticket of the year.
I have sideline chairbacks thats are $775 each for the season. On what planet will i get over $775 a ticket for one game? Not happening. I got $225 a ticket for Kansas last year.

I did that with some football tickets for the UT game. Not quite, sold the tickets for $225 and paid $253 for the season, gave most of the rest away.
It really has to be super premium seats like first 1-5 rows sideline. I saw some seats in 113 sell the other day on Stubhub for the Baylor game, north of $500… for a Monday night game against an unranked opponent. I can’t go back and find it because Stubhub does not save the solds for more then a few hours. And of course it has to be the right opponent, I know some guys who did very well with the Alabama game a few years back.
The price listings on these sites fluctuate, and driven by supply and demand. The fact that Fertitta Center seats 7,100, makes the supply limited, which drives up price.
However, as I learned from being an Astros season ticket holder for over 50 years, listed price for a ticket is one thing; the price for an actual sold ticket is another.
