Is all forgiven if we are 7-1 going into USF?

Speaking of Smu, this is how you throw the ball to where the WR is going. Sat in the pocket took the big hit and delivered a strike. Some dudes just have it

Once UH becomes a member of the Big 12, buying season tickets is like buying a highly respected IPO.

If the IPO is successful and you didn’t invest early, you may regret it later on.

Those that didn’t renew their season tickets because of CDH will live to regret it.

As a seasoned Wall Street investor, I speak from experience.

I based that guesstimate on the fact that a friend and adjacent UH season ticket holder told me that his son-in-law had to give $20K per year in order to be able to purchase his 4 season tickets at ATM. Our current Cougar Pride contribution for 2 seats in TDECU Section 231 is $125 x 2 = $250.00 for 2 seats.

After UH is admitted into the Big12, I would think that our Cougar Pride seating contributions would be expected to increase in order for UH to become & remain competitive.

:joy::rofl::joy: You Boomers are too freaking much. I’m dying.

No one wants you to die. You are too important to the program.

Your opinion is important.

I have great respect for your opinion, but I would prefer you to learn with less emotionalism.

:joy::joy: Honestly, you people are the reason they call us Cougar High. You are all the same crew that couldn’t understand my criticism of Holgi, his recruiting, etc. in the first place despite tons of data and evidence. This has been going on for months and months, and you are all fanatics incapable of compressing the truth.BTW, never did I say to email Tillman! Please stop embarrassing us UH grads.

One of the issues is the long term fans really want to be in the Big12.

I’m 10 and 13yrs older than my two younger brothers one played at Texas Tech the other ran track at Baylor Bear.

They could care less about playing us. As the RR told me at the game. Yeah it was fun for all of us to be here, but we really don’t care about playing Cougar High. We never played y’all other than one off games and a reason to get out of Dallas.

That is from people in their late 30’s and early 40’s.

We have been out of playing them longer than most of the young people at UH have been alive.

UH joining the Big12 is a pure money grab for the school and it will be nice to have that cash for the next round of realignment.

Then I feel if we don’t have a winning season this yr and next with at least 8+ when realignment happens, we get left behind as a Major and we will be playing in the NCAA and not the ESPN side of the house where the money is.

Speaking of money UH is already behind the NIL for the players and how we get money to them.

Just locally, Pinkerton BBQ has already got their guy on the website.

The days of the NCAA and how College sports were played are long gone. Pandora’s box is open and if we are not ahead of these programs, we will be left behind.

I’ll still support my team.

If we don’t make adjustments soon, I can see the long road a head of us.

You get less likeable with each post. I think that’s Longhorn DNA coming through.

6 straight w’s and everyone will call for TDECU to expand to 70k

Most likely we will be 4 - 3 going into the SMU game and dead even AFTER …

AND it could be worse if four of those poor sisters suddenly turn into FlaSt’s believing we are ND …

Forgiven … uhhh … this isn’t … As The Stomach Turns … we are not Marian and this isn’t Canoga Falls …

No, its because Holgi gets less likeable with each loss.

Brad, You’re starting to lose it. Coming from someone who’s never been the biggest Holgy believer or supporter. As non Alum I just choose to keep almost all my thoughts on him under wraps. You haven’t heard a peep from me on Holgy in last 48 hrs nor will you. But I’m going to look for the biggest fishing pole today, bc I need to reel you in. You’re over the Top. Nothing can be done at moment. If the season doesn’t play out as we all Hope, I’m confident that the correct decisions will be made to get the Football program moving in the Right direction. Concerned for you little, it’s really going to be ok.

Simple answer is YES, CDH has the ability to redeem himself. It will be a different threshold for different fans but it can be done.

I came into this season with low expectations. Last season was so screwed up I didn’t know whether this team was good or not.

If we are 6-1 CDH will be on his way to redemption for most fans. He will really improve his standing if major work is done at the QB position. Either Tune makes great strides or CDH brings in another QB and coaches him up. That’s what we expect from an offensive guru and should placate the fan base.

If we’re 4-3 (or worse) and we struggled to get those 4 wins- look out.

If we lose to Rice and Grambling, we’ll all chip in to help with the buyout.

Agreed my expectations for this season were always an Applewhite style fraud good season. Lots of wind over teams who were just worse than us. But exposed against teams with pulses. The Tech loss wouldn’t have been as enraging to me, but the way we lost has convinced me CDH isn’t the guy.

6-1 won’t change my overall convictions unless we have a radical change in how we are playing as a whole giving me hope against the few decent to good teams on our schedule. The team has my support including the staff, but I’m ready for change. And my philosophy still hasn’t changed lose to Rice or GSU and CDH should just not bother coming in on Monday.

Exactly. This schedule is the WORST thing that could have happened to us if we’re serious about stepping up. Just easy enough to give us a winning season, but was it really?

Yours is cool too.

Yes, if we’re 6-1 this game will be ancient history and will be forgiven. That’s the nature of football fans, if we move forward and start taking care of business this game will just be written off as a bad game. And if TT is 6-1 as well I think we’ll all feel better about this game.

Saturday’s game is done, time to move on.

I like seeing fans fired up, because I’ve seen the alternative.
