I hope the fans show up. This game is crucial for the season. A must-win really.
30K tops.
30k for this game would be an achievement, I feel.
All I know is all of my season tix are filled⦠probably with new Coogsā¦
If we want good attendance one day then we need to join a big conference like the B12 and we need to have a winning football team that is 5-1 and we need to play other big name power programs in conference play such as Arizona and we need to have nice weather sunny and in the 70s and we need to have a Saturday start time not to interfere with work and school. Oh wait, thatās this Saturday
I keep getting emails for a social work school tailgate. Homecoming will sell a few tix.
It would really help to put escalators in to upper decks and finish out upper decks with restrooms and concessions. I sit in 300ās u wouldnāt believe the amt of people that are huffing and puffing after climbing the first set of stairs and then having to hike up the 300ās, then to go to restrooms they have to do it again and fight the crowds. I really think itās a huge turn off for folks especially the older folks. I really think people come once and decide itās too much work and trouble and donāt come back, just my thoughts
I also second this. I feel that a big reason that the 300 level seats struggle to sell is precisely because of the lack of ease and amenities. They should really try to include restrooms around the Queenie party deck.
Escalators to the foot of the 300 section would probably be the best stadium investment right now. Idk how feasible it would be to add a concourse in between the 200 and 300 levels on the visitor sideā¦.but that would be an ideal thing to do.
Lastly if none of this can be done, at least put AC in the restrooms. Bottom line, if we want to charge pro team prices (17 dollar beer anyone?) we should provide pro team amenities. Just my 2 cents.
Is it supposed to be nice weather⦠I currently see thunderstorms at 1-2 pm for Houston on Saturdayā¦
Edit: When I checked last night it showed those storms but looks good this morning⦠Go Coogs!
It should be nice weather, good opponent and Homecoming, we are 5-1 playing for a bowl bid. The one loss is to a top 10 team and we gave them their closest game so far and we did not play well. Why wonāt fans support this team? Stop asking the media to hype it, fans know there is a game.
Whatās the get in price point?
Cheap⦠it was like $25 the other day when I looked.
Me & my other buddy canāt make it so we gave our 4 seats awayā¦
$25 feels like there outta be some people to buy those
There will be a good crowd⦠but itās not gonna sellout.
If we win these next 2 against the Arizona teams then the WVU game will be close to a sellout.
Houston fans are fickle in every sport; even pro sports⦠outside of the hardcore fans the casuals will only come to games once a championship seems possible⦠weāre not there this season⦠yet.
CU game had 38k there⦠just a lot of people with seats up there would rather stand in the lower level concourse.
If UH didnāt let people stand around in the concourse the upper deck would look a lot more fullā¦
Might be tough on a weekend. But lets keep our fingers crossedā¦
Students will be there⦠itās our alums that forget about football season.
They would sell more lower bowl tickets if they had ushers. My section rarely sells out but is always full.
