Looking at current D1 coaches, you got a few current HOF coaches:
*Rick Pitino - inducted in 2013
*John Calipari - inducted in 2015
*Bill Self - inducted in 2017
*Tom Izzo - inducted in 2016
I think you add Dan Hurley to that list, eventually. As well as Mark Few at Gonzaga.
Yes or No, Hall of Fame for these coaches
*Kelvin Sampson (Houston)
*Rick Barnes (Tennessee)
*Bruce Pearl (Auburn)
*Tony Bennett (Virginia - retired)
*Scott Drew (Baylor)
*Dana Altman (Oregon)

Surprised Billy Donovan took that long to get inducted.
2 National Championships. (502-206) record in college
Left college & went to NBA in 2015.
Other recent Inductees: Bo Ryan, Gene Keady, Bob Huggins, Jay Wright, Eddie Sutton, Lefty Driesell, Gary Williams, Nolan Richardson
Yes and the longer he coaches the more of a sure fire yes he becomes. Distance from his scandal and more wins really helping his case.
