Not upset at the team or that we are probably going to lose. 4 wins was the high end of my preseason thoughts. It is upsetting because after we got shutout for 10 quarters it looked like we turned the corner and was showing improvement. And now it looks like the kids were complaining too much and dad turned the car back around.
Our offense has been shutout for 4 straight quarters and hasn’t scored a touchdown in 21 days.
So did we get better and regress? Did we trip over success and didn’t mean to? If Baylor knew how to snap the ball we would be down 14 at half.
Coach happy to let the time run off the clock instead of using a timeout and sending out our offense one more time in the 1st half. The number of times he has chosen to go into the half that way this year tells you how garbage this offense is. Easily the worst passing offense I have ever seen at the college level.
So, I have seen UH play very little this year. What is the main problem with the offense? Bad QBs? Bad O-line? Bad OC? Overall lack of talent? All of the above?
From what I’ve seen tonight, there seems to be very little creativity when they have the ball.
Fritz hired the oc and in an interview with 365 sports Chriss said that Fritz recruited him to Tulane before he chose Louisiana. This is Fritz football.
I totally agree. The POS Dana did not recruit, left us a bare cupboard, players transferred out (especially two good receivers), coach Fritz had to bring in 63 (or more) players just to try and field a team. OL was a big issue. Smith might have been OK with a decent OL. Can’t be trying to not get sacked and be a decent passer. Tom Brady would have sucked behind our OL. Let’s see if CWF can recruit better OL talent and more with a full recruiting period. Hope so or our pitiful fan base will dwindle more.
