I don’t understand. I’m saying there are degrees to everything. Penny was raked over the coals for months for what amounts to a minor recruiting violation and he was warned in societate by the AAC.

There’s evidence major recruiting violations are going on in every conference yet the Fake 10 is waging a holy war over sign stealing - something that is arguably a lesser violation.

It’s they are making a much bigger deal of the Michigan/Harbagh thing than they did over issues much more serious.

I’m saying that every team tries to steal signs. Its more a strategy than a crime of moral turpitude. And there are ways to prevent it - even if the other team has a spy in your locker room.

A school like Northwestern, whose boosters aren’t as connected to the dark money underground can’t compete with payola. I think if you’re gonna stake your flag on ethical grounds you should address the more grievous violations first as a matter of principle.
