In case you missed it, Jared Triolo was called up to the bigs by the Pirates recently. He had an RBI single last night. Good for Jared. I hope he sticks.
It’s also cool that both Corey Julks and Connor Wong were on the All Star ballot this year.

I wonder if that’s ever happened before.
My quick (and probably incomplete) research shows our last UH plyer to make the AS team was Jesse Crain in 2013. Last position player was Michael Bourne in 2012.

I bet he recruited either Wong, Julks or Pruitt if not all 3.
And to add to that, John King was called up by the Rangers and pitched two shutout innings against the Red Sox last night.
